Jan has played trumpet since he was 10 years old. He is finishing a degree in Business from UW- Eau Claire this May, but his passion lies with playing the trumpet. 

June-November 2019 he traveled the world playing trumpet 6 nights a week on a cruise ship. Currently Jan strives to carry on his wisdom and work ethic to beginning trumpet students and beyond. He plays in the University Jazz Ensemble as well as running his own small group jazz bands around town. He feels blessed to be instructing under the David Thomas School of Music.
