David Thomas, founder of the David Thomas School of Music, has taught over 10,000 music lessons. In addition to private music education, he has taught at St. Joseph Conservatory of Music, St. Paul Academy, Highland Catholic, and has headed music clinics at numerous colleges and public schools. David’s method of teaching is acclaimed by artists including Doc Severinsen, Charles Lazarus of the Minnesota Orchestra, Eric Wangensteen (Lead Trumpet, Bette Midler), and numerous public school educators.

David's solo jazz cd, "Wingin' It" rose to #14 on the US Jazzweek Chart and was awarded the New Orlean's "Best Top 10 New Releases of 2003", receiving national airplay on 200 radio stations across the country.
