Faraz began playing piano as a young child and quickly fell in love with the instrument.  His initial childhood training took place in Tehran, Iran before moving to the United States following high school.

 

Faraz currently entertains shoppers on the piano at the Von Maur store in Eden Prairie.  In addition to reading music, he has memorized nearly 13 hours of piano music and is able to fulfill customers' requests for specific songs, pieces, and styles of music.

 

In addition to teaching private piano lessons, Faraz has used his teaching abilities in the role of music therapist with special-needs junior artists, and has developed music therapy curriculum for children with disabilities, improving their lives through music.

 

Faraz teaches children and adults of all ages and ability levels from diverse cultural backgrounds.
