Gus graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, with a B.Mus degree in Jazz Studies.  Gus has studied under great musicians such as Greg Keel, Irv Williams, David Hastings, Andrea Splittberger-Rosen and Paul Doebler.  He has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Jack Brass Band, Mick Sterling and the Irresistibles, and Dr. Mambos Combo.  He enjoys working with students of all ages and believes that music should be inspirational and fun for all.
