Marilyn graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. degree in Music Education and has completed three years of study toward a Masters of Fine Arts in Oboe Performance also at the University of Minnesota.  Marilyn has studied with Rhademaus Angelucci, Richard Killmer, and Basil Reeve, all principal players for either the Minnesota Orchestra or the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.  She has worked with artists such as Pincas Zuckerman, Pavoratti and the Three Tenors, and Julie Andrews.  Over the years, Marilyn has performed with the MN Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, MN Opera Orchestra, and the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra.  Marilyn has experienced great success with students of all levels.
