Michaela is an oboist throughout the Minneapolis - St. Paul area.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg College in 2015.  Some of Michaela's private oboe instructors have included Susan Frevert, Sarah Erickson-Lume, and Merilee Klemp.  Recently, she received music departmental honors for her work in a recital that focused on modern works for oboe and percussion.  In addition to many Augsburg College ensembles, Michaela has performed with the Inter-Collegiate Honor Band (principal oboist), the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, and the St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra.  Michaela plans to continue her education in music by attending graduate school for Oboe Performance.
